My name is Milad Nikzad and I’m from Baltimore County, Maryland. My parents immigrated here from Iran. I’ve been playing piano since I was five years old. I write classical and pop music that’s heavily influenced by Persian music. I work as a genetic counselor, a career that I have loved since high school. I’m finishing up a book of poetry that I’ve been working on for seven years.
